These Fresco beds are made of a PVC-coated fabric that is relatively breathable and will keep your dog cool on hot summer days. Some of the most attractive features of this bed are that it is water resistant and machine washable. Frisco recommends cleaning steel frames and covering them with a damp cloth for regular cleaning, but washing and air-drying them once every few months for a deep cleaning.
We love to rave not only about the low cost of these beds, but also about the easy assembly and skid-resistant feet that allow dogs more stability and fewer accidental injuries.

The design features non-skid rubber feet that keep the entire bed stable. This bed also comes with a lot more color options than the other beds on the list.
Assembly is not as easy as other products on the market. It comes with a lot of individual parts, and some pieces require a bit of effort to slide into each other. The Velcro that holds the bed to the frame sometimes comes undone. Some intelligent species have figured out how to pull it so that it loosens. Although mesh fabric is comfortable, it is easy to chew and may need to be changed more often than other bedding.

This Amazon Prime bed uses breathable mesh and advertised cooling as one of its best features. Mesh is particularly breathable but only comes in two colors, so your options are limited if you're looking for one to match your decor.
The height of this bed keeps your dog 7 inches off the ground, so it's easy to get up and down without putting too much stress on their joints. Unlike some other pet beds, assembly is relatively easy due to the minimal parts that come in the package.
Although Amazon claims to sell sizes for additional dog breeds, the largest size only holds up to 110 pounds. There are many large dogs who miss out on this comfortable bed because of this misleading advertisement.

We love that they are reasonably priced while still providing customers with a reliable and sturdy bed that won't rust. This is one of the taller beds that is a good option for dogs 8 inches tall and older.
Mesh fabric is as breathable as other bedding, but it's cling-resistant, so dog hair, dirt, and other nasty things won't stick to it. When it gets dirty over time, it's easy to clean with a little soap and tap water. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to replace the mesh fabric, so once the bed breaks or rips, you have to buy a brand new one.
